I fully agree. Why help the backyard breeders out and the puppy mills by buying from a store when there are millions of amazing pets euthed every year. I was a volunteer for years before I had my own house. Love working with the animals and Herbie stole my heart and 6 months later I couldn't resist that gorgeous little freckle face.

She is such a little sweetie...when not dealing with other animals. heh. Loves her hugs. If you ask her for a hug, she throws her paws around your neck and leans in. Herbie just tongue washes your face whenever possible.

Only cute if you're her owner...LOL. Leans in is a tad of an understatement. More times than not I end up backward on the floor, paws on either side of my head getting face raped by my pittbull. LOL. We also lovingly call Steeler the tongue weasel. You can jam your mouth tight and thrash your head but somehow that little brat sneaks the tongue either up the nose which in turn makes you gasp so she then gives you a full on french or just darts it in sans the nose cleaning. It's a sight to behold let me tell you lol.
