| Raiders Sign Fifth Round Pick WR Juron Criner
Everyone was presumably present and accounted for Sunday with the announcement that the Raiders had signed fifth-round draft pick Juron Criner to a contract. Criner, a wide receiver from Arizona and the No. 168 overall, was a standout during off-season minicamps and OTAs and is expected to push for starting time as a rookie. ESPN reported Saturday Criner and the Raiders were $14,000 apart in terms of signing bonus money. Players will take a conditioning test Sunday, and coach Dennis Allen is scheduled to meet with reporters who cover the team at 1 p.m. Source: Oakland Tribune |
