QB Carson Palmer Calls Raiders A 'Championship Team'
Carson Palmer sounded happy about being a part of the Raiders in 2012. In an interview on SiriusXM NFL Radio, Palmer said that the changes going on in Oakland were exciting, and that he feels that the players there now can contribute to making a playoff run. He plans to work out with teammates in California this offseason. "As far as being close to a playoff team, it's more than that," Palmer said. "We're close to a championship team. There's a lot of work that needs to be put in and a lot of hurdles that we need to get over, but we need to be heading into this season thinking more than just playoffs."
