NFL Nick Foles Leads Eagles To 27-17 Win Over Patriots
Eagles star quarterback Michael Vick was leveled after throwing a long pass in the first quarter and underwent X-rays for the second straight game — negative again. Then backup Nick Foles led the Eagles to a 27-17 preseason victory over the New England Patriots on Monday night. Eleven days earlier, in a 24-23 win over Pittsburgh, he had X-rays on his left thumb after hitting it on center Jason Kelce's helmet. Foles threw two touchdown passes for the second straight game for the Eagles. Tom Brady sat out the game for the Patriots.

I'm okay with Foles as the QB. Unfortunately as soon as Kafka is healthy he'll be number 2 again behind Vick. Yay.

Nick Foles is already much, much better than Kevin Kolb. Kolb played in a pass happy offense in a shit conference in college. Foles broke records in every level he's played and played against competitive opponents. Comparing the 2 is plain ol' stupid.

get the fuck out of here with that noise. "much, much better" my ass. I have always hated kolb (or any eagles QB for that matter) andy reid can really make a hoax of a QB look like the future. Kolb was a second round pick and i thought at best he profiled as a career backup just like stanton and edwards did that same year. Even with kolb being pure shit his entire career and being traded for DRC and a second rounder because annoucers would say things like "he makes andy reid light up like a christmas tree" foles is certainly not better than him right now. If vick struggles this year i would not be surprised at all if they drafted a QB in the first round, foles was simply so they have a backup for THIS year with the potential to be groomed for the future. You saying anything different is just "plain ol stupid"

jesus.....give me a fucking break, the patriots starting defense is terrible, their backups are just a bunch of guys out there
