New Jersey Governor Disappointed In Jets, Giants Lawsuit Over Mall

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie told the Bergen Record he was "disappointed" that the New York Jets and New York Giants had filed a lawsuit to halt construction of a mall next to their stadium in the Meadowlands. “It’s not the way the business should be done, and I’m disappointed in the teams for having done it — and I’ll leave it at that,” Christie said to the paper's editorial board.The teams are concerned about traffic issues that could arise on game days if the mall is built beside the Meadowlands Stadium. The mall, which is currently unfinished, is slated to have an indoor water park and amusement park inside, a la the Mall of America in Minneapolis.
