Ex-NFL Players Combining Concussion Suits Vs. NFL A "master complaint" lawsuit -- consolidating nearly 100 suits from more than 2,000 ex-NFL players and their families -- will be filed against the league in court on Thursday, the Los Angeles Times reported. The complaint, which will be filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, alleges that the NFL "deliberately and fraudently concealed from its players the link between football-related head injuriea and long-term neurological injuries." Expected to speak to reporters Thursday is Mary Ann Easterling -- widow of ex-Atlanta Falcons safety Ray Easterling, who committed suicide. Also scheduled to speak is and Kevin Turner, a former NFL fullback who has Lou Gehrig's disease. The plaintiffs claim their suit allows former players and their families "to finally hold the league accountable for its misconduct." Source: CBS Sports
