Is the SB the only NFL game out there where the pregame lasts longer than the game itself?

No...the ProBowl has no game so the pregame IS the event.

I thought it was moving fast. Usually it's not over until after 11:00-11:30 with all the hoopla that follows.

Well there was pretty much only 1 team playing in the first quarter so it makes sense that it went twice as fast.

yep, the first half was incredibly fast, and really the whole game in general, because both teams were dinking and dunking with high % short passes all night, so it was basically like a game where both teams were running the ball every down, which keeps the clock moving all the time.

the giants only got the ball 8 times in the game (not including the kneel at the end of the 1st half) and the pats final drive was only their 9th chance.

In an average NFL game, both teams usually get closer to 12 drives per game and the game ends up taking a lot longer in real time because of it.

both teams had extremely conservative offensive game plans and it made for a quick game (and somewhat of a snoozer except the last few minutes)
