I read that the reason the spread began at 3 and not more is that the books want an over abundant amount of money to be placed on New England. Evidently, there is a lot of money out there on the Giants to win the Super Bowl at some good odds and the books stand to lose a whole lot of money if it doesn't balance out...

Hell, I don't know. I thought our 07 team was unbeatable, so who the fuck knows anything. I'm getting trashed is the only thing I'm sure about, win or lose. It's always great having your team get this far, and hoping they bring home the trophy.

yep, that makes sense because the pats odds before the playoffs to win it all were about 7 to 2 and the giants were about 25 to 1 so they're trying to offset the 25 to 1 money, which they are in danger of having to pay out.

predictionmachine.com has become my favorite site for good statistical analysis. they are much more accurate than footballoutsiders or any others i have seen. They usually hit on their picks about 70% of the time.

They have played the game 50,000 times in their computer and the Giants are their play. They're actually a pretty good play against the spread, covering about 58% of the time and they have the giants winning straight up 52% of the time.

If the Giants front four pressures Brady without any + Blitzes, it's going to be a long day for the Pats. Like I said before, if you can rush four in this league and drop 7 into coverage, that's tough for any opposing quarterback to overcome.

I like the Giants in this game, duh.

Giants 34
Pats 24

Patriots got caught and have not won a Super Bowl since Spy Gate. Fuck Tom Lady and Bill Belicheat. If the Ravens exposed the Patsie defense in the AFC Championship game just imagine what Tom Coughlin will do to them with two weeks to prepare for this game. Go Big Blue!
