to me he will be ok but I can't see him ever being very successful. I think he will be a great backup and a guy that will start at times sort of like a Fitzpatrick in the way that he could start but he won't win games for his team.

i dont know - something about this kid gives me a good gut feeling. plus his stock is surely going to take a bit of a hit because he broke his ankle and cant play in the senior bowl so grabbing him @ #45 would be a good pick IMO.

Actually surprisingly it really hasn't. Still read where people think he will be a 1st rounder. Personally, I don't see it..

yeah that would be a possibilty. thats why i thought if he makes it into the 2nd round and the dolphins dont get manning via FA the eagles better move up if they want him.

again i like this kid and if there is one thing reid and morninwheig are good at it's grooming young qb's.

ultimately it seems final personnel decisions are no longer reid's but i do not feel any better knowing that a fucking nerd has that power now.

notice i said "good" ? did i say everything they touch turns to gold ? if i did you have a point, otherwise i'm not sure what your point was.

but on kolb, what do you even know about him since the move to arizona ? the cards suck it big time and he got hurt. there really isnt much of a body of work to judge there but while he played here he showed a ton of promise minus the GB game to start 2010.

actually kolb would've been very good here IMO considering the oline's play jumped up dramatically. the kid is not mobile at all and that's an issue but other than that he's not bad. i still dont think the eagles let the right qb go. reid just fell in love with vick's intangables.

but hey - point out kolb and conveniently leave the names of favre & mcnabb. christ, reid even got the most out of a.j. feely here. that's part of the equation, what reid and marty get out of guys while they're here.
