Giants Giants' Sinorice Moss Will be Out to Prove Critics Wrong

Since the Giants made their selection of Steve Smith from USC in round two, many seem to believe that Smith will step right into considerable playing time as the third wide receiver. While I am a big fan of Smith and think he is going to be a productive player for many years for us, I am not ready to hand over the job to him just yet. Last year's second round pick, Sinorice Moss is healthy and will be looking to bounce back from an injury plagued rookie year.

I like what I've heard about Steve Smith...he's gonna give Moss a serious challenge for that 3rd spot. Coughlin keeps talking about how he has such soft hands...in comparison to someone like Tim Carter. He was fast as hell, but couldn't catch herpes if he tried.

I like the looks of the Giants receiving corps this next season. Plax is far and away the #1, depending on how his knee recovers, Toomer is still #2. It's going to be an interesting fight between Smith & Moss for the 3rd spot. Whoever doesn't snag that 3rd spot will probably wind up being the full-time punt returner too
