Default Lelie is a 49er

Well I guess Lelie is now a 49er, I really don't think he's as bad as he's portrayed since he was never with a team that had a bonafied "good" QB, that being said, it's sad that for the 2007 he will still be looking for a GOOD QB to throw to him. I hope he does reasonably well with us <crossing fingers>

Well....it's a good move IMO since they didn't give up much to get him. I thought Lelie was going to command more than what the Niners spent. He'll never be a #1 WR and has hands of stone but that speed....

Not bad for the price. Smith has a pretty decent long ball and if Lelie can catch it without showing the nation his ass (Bryant style) then i'm good. With Gore and our ground game and a guy that can stretch the field in Lelie we should see some bigger plays this year...

I'm sure Nolan will pick up a WR in the draft too.

Not a bad move by the 49ers picking up a WR who was on a team in 2006 with a QB who thinks he a RB.

I don't expect much from him.
Same category as Brandon Lloyd or Stallworth... underachiever.

Yeah but of the three I'd rather have Lelie....Lloyd is a drama queen and Stallworth is an injury waiting to happen.

Excellent. Another team out of the running for Stallworth.
