Eagles Embarrassing Eagles Are Now Done

Embarrassing Eagles are now done - NFL Nation Blog - ESPN

Quote:
Another blown fourth-quarter lead at home to a team they should have beaten. Sunday's loss to the John Skelton Arizona Cardinals was their worst yet, and it dropped their record to 3-6. You don't fall apart and lose to the Cardinals at home and rebound to make the playoffs. Not when so much has already gone wrong and you arrived at the must-win-every-game portion of your season three weeks ago. The Eagles are going to have to win every one of their remaining seven games just to have a chance to make the postseason, and the problem with that is that they're just not very good at winning games.
Good read on the Eagles. At this point it's going to take an act of god to revive this team. An amazing letdown for a team that was high on the pedestal before the season kicked off.

I still can't believe how bad they have been playing. All that talent and all that money spent... wow

What the heck are you talking about?

They did build up the trenches. Offensive line has been improving every week and looked great today. D-line, well they still leave some to be desired but looked good today.

Yes, this team is awful. It's a shame for Shady who is having a killer season. If the coaches gave him the number of touches he deserved, he'd have over 150 in total offense every game.

No heart from Vick. So fucking disappointed. Wonder how his play would be if we had simply kept the franchise tag on him instead of giving him all that money.

yeah, i think most of us believe they are done for the year. the giants can probably mathematically eliminate them on sunday because 7 losses is probably the cut-off for a wild card

Both lines of the Eagles leave a lot to be desired. And the trenches also involve the linebackers. And for Jenkins and Babin, both have been more streaky than a fat mans underwear after a spicy wing eating contest.

Talent wins championships, not money.

Rob Ryan has been proven right when he called the Eagles the "All Hype Team".
