| Giants Officially Add Ex-Broncos DT Marcus Thomas
Defensive tackle Bobby Skinner's stint with the Giants lasted less than a day. Skinner practiced with the team in the afternoon but was cut in the evening to make room for defensive tackle Marcus Thomas. Thomas (6-3, 307) worked out for the Giants on Thursday and left the building with a new deal in place. Thomas will be counted on to replace Shaun Rogers, whose season was cut short because of a blood clot in his lower leg. The Giants' other injuries at defensive tackle include Chris Canty (knee, PUP), Martin Parker (back, waived-injured) and Marvin Austin, who will have more tests on his ailing back.
