| Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski Says Ankle Is 'Feeling Better Every Single Week' Rob Gronkowski had ankle surgery nearly four months ago, and he said the recovery process is “going well.” The tight end hasn’t practiced in either of the two organized team activities that have been open to the media, but he has been able to work on his conditioning to the side of the field. He’s kicked the limp, but the Patriots haven’t overexerted him to this point in the offseason. There’s still no telling when Gronkowski will get back on the field to practice, though no one on the team appears particularly concerned about that. The Patriots will conduct their last four OTAs this week, and they’ll have minicamp June 12-14 before parting ways for a month and a half prior to training camp. “Just taking it day by day,” said Gronkowski, who shaved his head this morning to raise money for cancer research. “Everything is going well, just feeling better every single week.” Source: Boston Herald |
