Minnesota State HC Todd Hoffner Arrested For Child Pornography

The head football coach at Minnesota State University has been arrested on suspicion of child pornography, authorities said. Todd Hoffner, 46, was booked Tuesday, Aug. 21, into the Blue Earth County Jail for requested charges related to using minors in a sexual performance and possession of child pornography, said Capt. Rich Murry of the Blue Earth County Sheriff's Department. Hoffner, who was escorted off the field during practice Friday, was arrested at his home in Eagle Lake without incident about 11:45 a.m. Tuesday while sheriff's investigators searched the house. Murry said he couldn't comment or elaborate on the charges being requested by investigators. Formal charges had not been filed by the Blue Earth.
