Dolphins LB Joey Porter Didn't Speak To Tony Sporano For Several Weeks

Speaking on The Sporting News radio, Dolphins linebacker Joey Porter admitted that he and coach Tony Sparano didn’t speak to each other after Porter was deactivated for a Nov. 15 visit from Tampa Bay. Prior to Sparano’s decision, Porter said the two had a great relationship, including texting or talking every day. Porter, who turns 33 on March 22, said he doesn’t see how he could return to the Dolphins, given the state of his relationship with Sparano and his diminished role on the team.
