| Charges Dropped Against Dolphins DE Randy Starks
Edgar Thompson of the Palm Beach Post reports more two months after Dolphins DE Randy Starks was arrested and charged with aggravated assault of a police officers during the Memorial Day weekend, prosecutors decided Tuesday to take no action on the felony charges, according to Miami-Dade County court records. Starks, 25 and entering his sixth NFL season, instead faces a misdemeanor charge of culpable negligence, records show. Starks, 25, was charged with aggravated battery for allegedly used his large truck to strike an officer who tried to stop the slow-moving vehicle on foot during a traffic jam in South Beach in the early morning hours of May 24.
