Gotta love MAC football. GO BGSU took down Pitt in the opener and has Minnesota in week 2.

Turner Gill has turned UB into a real Division 1 football program. I hope the team continues to grow. Contrary to popular belief everyone in NY state is not into Syracuse so to have an alternative to root for is great.

Buffalo would probably beat Syracuse right now. Syracuse is just bad.

Buffalo could beat Syracuse by more than 3 TDs on the road.

Here's a cool video about the 1958 UB Football team who was the only in school history invited to a bowl game. They turned down the invite because in Florida blacks and whites couldn't play together. Buffalo had 2 black athletes and refused to play without them.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the only UB football team to be invited to a bowl game. But the Bulls didn't play, for a reason that defines unity and brotherhood. UB made the Tangerine Bowl that season, finishing with an 8-1 record and winning the Lambert Cup for being the best small college in the East.

Next week's game against Temple won't be a pushover for either Team, Temple really wanted that game today and would have loved to have a 2-0 matchup next week as Buf is going to smash a bad Pitt team, imo. Anyone know the score?
