Falcons Sign Free Agent C Jeremy Newberry

The Atlanta Falcons signed free agent offensive lineman Jeremy Newberry on Monday to an undisclosed contract. The 6-foot-5, 315-pounder appeared in all 16 games for San Diego last season after spending the 2007 season with Oakland and starting each of the 14 games in which he played. A 12-year NFL veteran and two-time Pro Bowl selection, Newberry began his career in San Francisco and spent nine years with the 49ers.

I can't believe he's still playing. Didn't even know he was in San Diego last year.
I guess his knee is finally healed... at least enough to play.
