Patriots nose tackle Vince Wilfolk is seeking a "comfortable" contract from the club. Wilfolk said in a radio interview that it made "the most sense" for him to stay away from New England's OTAs while he seek seeks a new deal. "It's nothing personal towards the organization. It's nothing personal towards my coaches or anything like that," Wilfork said on WEEI radio. Wilfork is entering the final year of his six-year contract worth an average of $1.5 million a season. "I'm not looking to sign this big-time, going-down-in-history, the best contract there is. I want to be comfortable," he added. "I don't want to leave. So I'm pretty sure we're going to do everything in our willpower to make it work."
That's a positive; "not break the bank" is refreshing. I think they will get this done, but after they sign their rookies. He's too important to their Defense to lose.
