David Garrard took some kidding about his weight loss during the offseason. The Jaguars quarterback, who played around the 250 mark a year ago, has dropped close to 20 pounds since the season ended, watching his food intake and getting in some quality workouts. "It feels good," Garrard said when asked what it felt like to be running around almost 20 pounds lighter than what he's been in the past. "I'm still not the fastest guy on the field; I'm still probably one of the slower guys. But I don't get tired as fast or as quickly and I feel my stamina is pretty good already. Going into all the camps before, I would be a little more winded, but now I'm feeling pretty good and hope to just continue to grow strength and my conditioning. And hopefully I can pick up a little more speed along the way."
