The Cowboys will have at least $4.15 million more under the salary cap once Greg Ellis has been officially removed from the roster. That money could end up in DeMarcus Ware's bank account, but Ellis departure doesn't mean the Cowboys are close to agreeing on a long-term extension with Ware. "We obviously don't have anything with Ware, so there's nothing urgent in terms of needing to make that decision," Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones said. Jones was tight-lipped when asked about negotiations with Ware's agent, Pat Dye Jr. "We're just having good visits, and hopefully it'll get resolved at some point," he said.

I would rather him become a Miami Dolphin. If JJ doesn't get this deal done before he is tagged it could get very ugly, considering that Jones gave all that money to Williams who is a good player at best.
