Words can't really sum up how great he has been for us over the years. I know he was the 8th overall pick when he was drafted and that's to be expected but he has overcome some things while here. He didn't really have much of an impact early in his career but he really turned it up under Wade's D which suits him much better than Zimmer's D did. I'll hate to see him go, but there's not really a spot for him on the team anymore in my opinion. We got a ton of young linebackers eager to step in. | I was really disappointed in him last year. The 8 sacks were a decent total, but they get skewed by the Giants game. The other 15 games he had a total of 5.
I think when you have a D that record 59 sacks, you can afford to get rid of a player that only accounted for 8 at a prime pass rush spot.
