Patriots Could Pursue QB Brian Griese?

FoxSports.coms Alex Marvez is reporting that quarterback Brian Griese is about to be cut by Tampa Bay later this week. The more interesting part of the story, is that Marvez speculates one of Grieses potential landing spots to be New England, given the Patriots dont have an experienced veteran to back-up Tom Brady, given the trade of Matt Cassel to Kansas City. Griese, the son of Miami Dolphin legend Bob Griese, was a teammate of Brady at Michigan.

This is the best fit for Griese. He will definately be a step up from what they have, can be signed for cheap, and will have a chance to win a championship

Might be a good fit. All depends on the progress od Matt Guiterrez. They are very confident in their number 2 already.....
