Giants [Giants] Giants Officially End WR Plaxico Burress's Season
The Giants placed wide receiver Plaxico Burress on the reserve/non-football injury list on Tuesday, officially ending his season. The team also fined Burress and suspended him for four games for conduct detrimental to the team for multiple and repeated violations of club rules.

Yes. It would probably happen then even if he wasn't on the non-football list because the proceedings don't happen immediately...so when he winds up in Cincinnati replacing Housh and CJ, he'll be available for Carson after Week 4...lol...
