 [Packers] Packers Place LB Nick Barnett, DE Kenny Pettway On IR The Packers announced Monday that they have placed LB Nick Barnett and DE Kenny Pettway on injured reserve. Barnett started nine games before being sidelined with a knee injury and he had 68 tackles, two passes defensed and a forced fumble. Pettway had appeared in eight games and made five special-teams tackles. Source: Pro Football Weekly

 We signed a corner (Joe Porter) and a D-tackle (Alfred Malone) off the PS. I want to know why Barnett was not IR'd straight away.

| prob not put on the ir right away waiting to see how good chances were to make playoff run, maybe nick could be healthy in jan.????
