[Giants] Derrick Ward Not The 3rd Giant With Burress During Shooting

Contrary to the beliefs of New York police officers, who are under the distinct impression that Giants running back Derrick Ward was with teammate Plaxico Burress when Burress accidentally shot himself, we’re emphatically told by multiple sources that Ward was not present. But there apparently was a third member of the team at the Latin Quarter night club in New York City, and we’re trying to track down more information about who it was and what, if anything, he did. Meanwhile, we’re hearing that the general thinking in the locker room is that Burress will not be missed if the team places him on the non-football injury/illness list, which would end his season and permit the team to cut off his paychecks.
