| Panthers DE Charles Johnson hasnt worked his way into the starting lineup yet this season, but word out of Carolina is that he has what it takes to be the long-term solution opposite Julius Peppers, should the team re-sign Peppers in the offseason. Johnson has 4.5 sacks and has been effective as a third-down specialist. Source: Pro Football Weekly
