 [Broncos] Broncos Rookie Spencer Larsen Gets Honored Then Fined By NFL Broncos rookie Spencer Larsen was selected as the NFL's rookie of the week after starting at linebacker and fullback last Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons. But shortly after learning he had won that honor, he was notified he had been fined $5,000 by the league for a leg whip on a running play against the Falcons. He was not penalized on the play during the game. "It is cool," Larsen said of the honor. "It's something I didn't expect. It is always good to have people respect you." Source: Denver Post
