| As a result of the officiating mistake that negated a touchdown at the end of the Week 11 game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and San Diego Chargers, the NFL has tweaked the instant replay policy. The rule change allows the referee to be accompanied by an additional member of the officiating crew when reviewing plays to ensure all calls are implemented correctly. The new instant replay goes into effect Week 12 and will be used for all remaining games. Source: New York Daily News
