[Jets] Jets QB Brett Favre Meeting His Expectations?

Though Jets quarterback Brett Favre won’t talk about whether he’ll return in 2009 for a second season with the Jets, he said on Wednesday that he’s performing the way he had hoped in his first year with the team. “At 38, I know what everyone else is thinking, ‘At some point he’s got to fall off.’ I agree. At some point. I don’t know when that point will be,” Favre said in quotes circulated by the team. “I played last week like I expect to play. I played at a high level, but that’s what they brought me in here to do. I expect to play like that every week, and hope to. Favre also said that Thursday’s win over the Patriots has given the Jets confidence heading into a game at 10-0 Tennessee.
