Chargers [Chargers] Chargers WR Chris Chambers Unlikely To Play Vs Patriots
Chargers WR Chris Chambers (ankle) missed another practice on Thursday, and it is looking more and more like he will miss Sunday night’s game against the Patriots. “Hopefully, I can make gradual improvement,” Chambers said. “If I have a chance, I definitely want to be out there with my teammates. But I don’t think it’s worth rushing it in October to get back on the field if I’m not all the way healthy.” This sounds like the words of a man who knows he is not going to play.

Damn, this game is losing a lot of luster. No Merriroid, no TFB, Cromartie is hurting, now no Chambers on an offense that couldn't beat Miami... hope Vincent Jackson is ready to remember that he gets to play once in a while.

Jackson actually hurt his knee and missed a practice, but both Cromartie and Jackson practiced today.
