 [49ers] 49ers Interested In Bengals WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh? Rumor has it that the San Francisco 49ers could have interest in acquiring Bengals WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh, who will become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season. According to a league source, Houshmandzadehs name has come up quite frequently during conversation at Niners headquarters in recent weeks. Apparently, 49ers offensive coordinator Mike Martz is enamored with Houshmandzadeh and may have learned some positive things about the receiver from a member of the Zampese family who Martz remains close to. | OL IS all that bad. It's dreadful. Staley is a turnstile, Jonas is glass, Sims is an older Kwame Harris, Heitmann is garbage since his injury, Snyder sucks, Baas and Wragge are decent, and Rachal is where? Now if SRW would only publish the article from his beloved PFT/Florio that debunks the claims in THIS article, maybe we could talk about some real 9er news. Like Nolan admitting he is coaching for his job.

| No it wouldn't. Getting a WR, no matter how good he may be, is not going to improve this team significantly enough to make it worthwhile. You could put Jerry Rice in his prime out there, but with the pass protection we currently get + JTO, he would never see the ball. Our current WR corps would be just fine if we had a qb and Oline.

| And somehow Gore is top 5 in rushing and our qb has over a thousand yrds and 7tds. Sure the 20 sacks is god awful but i can think of a handful that are all on JT... I'm not saying their great but i'm ok with them. Would like to see improvements but i'm not bitchin. If i had told you JT would have 7 tds and over a thousand yrds before the season started don't tell me you wouldn't have been happier than hell.
