49ers [49ers] 49ers LB Manny Lawson Expects To Play This Week
49ers outside linebacker Manny Lawson, who strained his left hamstring in New Orleans on Sept. 28 and missed the New England game, said he is about 80 percent healed and hopes to play Sunday against Philadelphia. "That's my goal," he said. "It's not completely there all the way. I tried to go Sunday (against the Patriots) and I felt it flinch on me. It's a little more than a cramp. It's a strain."

I'm actually impressed with his ability to block kicks / punts. He blocked a punt early in the seson and has come very close a few more times on xtra points/fg's as well. He's built perfect for it so i'm happy to see him out there.
