[Rams] Rams QB Trent Green Not Upset About Demotion

Veteran quarterback Trent Green said today he isn't upset about being demoted after only one start with the winless St. Louis Rams. Green became the starter when former coach Scott Linehan benched Marc Bulger. But Linehan was fired after a loss to the Buffalo Bills and replacement Jim Haslett reinstalled Bulger as the starter. "I told Scott I appreciated the opportunity," Green said in a telephone interview. "I understood the circumstances. I was brought here in the offseason to be Scott's backup. That was my role when I signed."
