Titans [Titans] Titans WR Lavelle Hawkins Taking Longer To Develop

Titans rookie WR Lavelle Hawkins, who looked to be making strides, now appears to be more of a project who might take some time to develop. Hawkins has the skill-set to be a productive receiver, but was inactive for the third time in four games Sunday and still has much to learn about the intricacies of route-running, of which offensive coordinator Mike Heimerdinger is a stickler for.

I was excited by what I saw before he got hurt in the preseason. Some people say he reminds them of Derrick Mason and if can give us that dynamic on offense I'd be stoked. Hopefully we'll see what he can do before the season ends.

I liked hawkins out of college. If only the titans would provide him with help opposite of him a steady offense would be in the titans future.

Could this be a hit?

Paul Williams - ?
Joel Filani - Miss
Chris Davis - ?
Jonathan Orr - Miss
Courtney Roby - Miss
Roydell Williams - Miss
Brandon Jones - ?
Tyrone Calico - Miss
Jake Schifino - Miss
Darrell Hill - Miss

Its safe to say they haven't done the best job of drafting Wide Receivers. However in their defense none of those players were drafted in the first round.
