[Cowboys] Dallas WR Danny Amendola Among Final Roster Cuts

The Dallas Cowboys have announced their complete roster cuts and are now down to 53 players on the roster. Among the biggest names is wide receiver Danny Amendola, who has been prominently featured on Hard Knocks, running back Keon Lattimore, best known as the younger brother of Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis, and Marcus Dixon, who was a defendant in a high-profile rape case in which he was charged with sexually assaulting a high school classmate. The other players cut were tight end Drew Atchison, nose tackle Remi Ayodele, quarterback Richard Bartel, wide receiver Mark Bradford, running back Alonzo Coleman, fullback Julius Crosslin, safety Dowayne Davis, linebacker Tearrius George, tackle Ryan Gibbons, tight end Rodney Hannah, receiver Mike Jefferson, tackle Cory Lekkerkerker, receiver Todd Lowber, linebacker Darrell Robertson, nose tackle Junior Siavii, defensive end Marcus Smith, linebacker Tyson Smith and linebacker Erik Walden.

As far as the PS goes, I would rather keep Lowbar and Bradford than Amendola or Jefferson. Lowbar and Bradford have great measurables (especially Lowbar) and are much better development guys than Amendola and Jefferson

Im surprised we kept 7 CB's. I figured Ball and Oglesby were fighting for a spot. I would have rather kept Davis.

Im pissed we kept Bowen over Ayodele. We dont have a 2 gap NT on the roster now

Im hoping the PS looks like this

-Bartel
-Lowbar
-Bradford
-Dixon
-Hannah
-Davis
-Ayodele (If he is eligible)
- Walden

BTW, thats one draft pick cut out of the last two years

We never do on the active WR

We use "Emergency" QB's (Crayton and Stanback) and keep a 3rd on the PS

Johnson will get cut if he does

Dallas never keeps 3 QB's on the active roster. Im not a huge advocate of drafting and converting college QB's to WR, but that is an upside to that
