Saints [Saints] Saints Marching Back To San Antonio?

If Tropical Storm Gustav turns into a hurricane and heads to the Big Easy, you can count on Tom Benson moving his team once again to San Antonio. The Saints director of operations spent the last two days contacting officials in San Antonio about practicing here. "They are exploring all their options," Jim Mery, the director of the Alamodome, told me. In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, the Saints spent the entire 2005 season in San Antonio and even played three games at the Alamdome and in 2004, Hurricane Ivan forced them to spend three days here.

Just as long as they don't move for good. I don't think the owner would be stupid enough to bring that idea up again.

NFL won't let that happen CW19, not in the near future at least.

As Dolphindouche said, the NFL won't allow that move, seeing as they can get a lot of positive publicity from having one of their teams supporting a struggling city.
