Packers [Packers] Packers QB Aaron Rodgers Hires A New Agent

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers said Tuesday that he has hired David Dunn of Athletes First as his new agent. Rodgers, who is eligible for unrestricted free agency following the 2009 season, fired his previous agent, Mike Sullivan, earlier this month.

Exactly!!! They probably could have kept Favre for much cheaper! I don't have a problem with Rodgers getting a new contract, seeing he is th starter now, but he has to prove it on the field first.

I like it, shows he has confidence in himself to have a big year without saying a word. If he has a big year, he holds ALL the cards for a new contract.

Now he had the chance to prove it and the contract talks will depent on his playing - what's the deal?
The Favre situation didn't have much to do with it, bc Rodgers whoud have become a FA in 2009 anyway and if he's not satisfied with his current agent, he has every right to look for a new one.
