Cardinals [Cardinals] QB Kurt Warner Will Start Final Preseason Game For Cardinals
Kurt Warner will start at quarterback Friday against the Broncos, but as usual, coach Ken Whisenhunt cautioned not to read into that decision. Warner has played far fewer snaps than Matt Leinart, who started in weeks one and two, so Whisenhunt wants to see Warner with the first team. Whisenhunt wants to see Warner handle more snaps, and Leinart will enter the game after a couple series. "I think it makes sense to start Kurt this game," Whisenhunt said. "Hopefully, we'll get enough snaps in there with a first line that we'll be able to play both of those guys."
