| It is being reported by several sources that the Jaguars have finally come to terms with their first-round pick, defensive end Derrick Harvey. Sources say Harvey signed a five-year deal worth anywhere from $30-$33 million. The agreement ends a franchise record 33-day holdout which forced Harvey to miss all of training camp, as well as the first three games of the Jaguars preseason. At this point, it is unclear whether or not Harvey will play in the Jaguars preseason finale Thursday night in Washington. Source: Scout.com

| Could have been worse, could have been a QB and the top pick of the draft. I still think he can get 5 or 6 sacks this year.

| I think that was what AT meant. I hope we get to see Harvey in tonight's game seeing as he's missed out on so much because of his holdout. Get him in for the majority of the game tonight I would. Hopefully we'll see him on 3rd and longs so he can rush the passer this season. It'll almost certainly be Paul Spicer and Reggie Hayward starting for us at DE this season, with Groves pushing Hayward.
