| Packers head coach Mike McCarthy plans to lighten Ryan Grant's workload this year. "I don't think he needs to carry it 30 times for us," McCarthy said. "I don't think he needs to carry it 25. I think 20 would be great. You have to be smart with a guy. You get him 20 carries a game, that's being smart and productive. You can get him the ball some other ways through the passing game. | 20 carries a game is 320 carries in a season, that is plenty for a #1 back. With a 4.0 average that goes to 1280 yds, sounds pretty damn good to me. Plus with less carries, it will likely increase his catches making him even more valuable in fantasy. Grant fans should be happy about this news.
