 [49ers] 49er DE Kentwan Balmer The Invisible Man Instead of selecting pass rusher, wide receiver, offensive tackle, the team went defensive tackle Kentwan Balmer, 1st round pick. The 49ers say that Balmer is right where they want him to be in his development, which is code for "don't expect much from him this year." Balmer's been a 315-pound invisible man this summer. | He's seemed to do a pretty good job as a run stopping DE in the past. That is what you look for in a 3-4 DE, isn't it? Stop the run and allow the LB to pass rush.
