Seahawks [Seahawks] Seahawks WR Deion Branch Has A Torn ACL
Deion Branch got a second opinion from Dr. James Andrews, who confirmed that the receiver will need surgery to repair a torn ACL. Mike Holmgren said that Branch, who injured himself in Seattle's season-ending loss to the Packers, is expected to be out at least nine months, and likely longer. Re-signing D.J. Hackett immediately becomes priority number one for the 'Hawks, who could end up using the franchise tag to salvage their receiving corps.
