Giants [Giants] Giants Place Safety Craig Dahl On Injured Reserve
The New York Giants on Monday placed rookie safety Craig Dahl on injured reserve. Dahl tore his anterior cruciate ligament covering a kickoff in the first quarter of Saturday's 38-35 loss to the New England Patriots. A free agent from North Dakota State, Dahl played in nine games - two starts - this season. He had 18 tackles on defense and five on special teams. In a corresponding move, the Giants signed defensive back Geoffrey Pope off their practice squad. Pope has spent the entire season on the team's practice squad.
