[Ravens] Ravens Place CB Samari Rolle On Injured Reserve

With the Baltimore Ravens staggering to the finish line, cornerback Samari Rolle was placed on injured reserve Friday with a shoulder injury. Rolle missed the last two games and has played in just six contests this season for the Ravens (4-10). He missed five games earlier this year with an illness that he later disclosed was epilepsy. Rolle also was involved in a controversy following the Ravens' 27-24 loss to the New England Patriots on December 3, when he accused head linesman Phil McKinnely of calling him a "boy". The NFL could not substantiate the charges, and Rolle was fined $15,000 for questioning the integrity of an official. Rolle is the fourth Ravens' Pro Bowl player to be placed on IR this season, joining fellow cornerback Chris McAlister (knee), defensive end Trevor Pryce (chest) and quarterback Steve McNair (shoulder).
