Lions [Lions] Lions Place Safety Idrees Bashir On Injured Reserve
The Lions placed safety Idrees Bashir on injured reserve, ending his season. Bashir came to the Lions on a reserve/future contract back in January and had worked his way into the third safety role. His loss will hurt Detroit's depth in the secondary and in kickoff coverage.
