[Broncos] Broncos DE Ebenezer Ekuban Out For Year

Broncos starting defensive end Ebenezer Ekuban appears to be lost for the season with an Achilles tear. After the Broncos' 31-20 loss at Dallas, Denver coach Mike Shanahan said the initial reports are that Ekuban will be lost for the season. Ekuban was hurt early in the second quarter. He banged his hand to the turf and was assisted off the field. He was taken to the locker room on a cart. "It's tough right now," Ekuban said, leaving the locker room on crutches. The candidates to replace Ekuban are rookie Tim Crowder and veteran Kenard Lang.
