The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced the addition of Jimmy Raye to the team's coaching staff on Wednesday. One day after hiring Butch Davis as a senior defensive assistant, first-year head coach Greg Schiano has added Raye as a senior assistant on the offensive side of the ball. "With over 30 years of NFL experience, Coach Raye has attained a wealth of knowledge that will be an invaluable resource to our coaches and players," said Schiano. Raye has been an offensive coordinator for seven NFL teams, including two seasons (1985-86) with the Buccaneers. Raye's other coordinator experience has come with the Los Angeles Rams (1983-84), New England Patriots (1990), Kansas City Chiefs (1998-2000), Washington Redskins (2001), Oakland Raiders (2004-05) and San Francisco 49ers (2009-10). Raye has also coached with the Detroit Lions, Atlanta Falcons and New York Jets during his 34 seasons in the NFL coaching ranks.
