| Raiders Will Pay DT Richard Seymour His $7.5 Million Roster Bonus | | | By being on the roster on the fifth day of the 2012 waiver wire period, Oakland Raiders defensive tackle Richard Seymour's base salary for 2012 is now fully guaranteed, a league source has confirmed on Saturday. Seymour signed a two-year, $30 million contract on February 25, 2011, a deal that included a fully guaranteed $7.5 million 2012 roster bonus -- which was prorated over two seasons, but comes due on March 17 -- and fully guaranteed $15 million base salary in 2011. Seymour restructured that contract after the lockout, adding three years and lowering his $15 million salary to $910,000 and receiving a $14.09 million bonus that was prorated over five seasons. Barring another restructure, Seymour is scheduled to earn $7.5 million in base salary in 2012. The final three years and $22.5 million are voidable by Seymour being on the roster five days after Super Bowl XLVI. Source: Mac's Football Blog
